What Are Your Cookies Policy and Usage?

Cookies are small, alphanumeric files saved to your computer’s hard disk when you visit a website - usually for the first time. This is not a new technology as they were first introduced to the internet back in 1994.

Today, most websites use them to identify your visit when you click through pages on a website. These are typically used once a visitor has put something in their basket or has logged into a website. In essence, it’s a small digital ID card. 

You will typically encounter a pop up warning you of a website's cookies when you visit a site for the first time, and it will be up to you as the user as to what permissions you give to the site.
