If you’ve decided it’s time to close your My Office Stationery account, we’re sorry to see you go, but completely understand.
Closing your account with us is straightforward. Simply email dpo [@] officestationery.co.uk and request for your account to be deleted. Please include the details of the account you would like us to close.
Once we have received this, we’ll then remove your account from our system.
What Happens to My Data After Closing an Account?
What happens to your data after you close your account with us is a completely valid concern. Once we receive your request to close your account, we follow a strict process in line with GDPR requirements.
Although your account will be closed, we are legally required to retain certain financial records for at least six years. This includes information relating to any goods bought or sold through your account.
Additionally, if you don’t have an ongoing service agreement (such as a lifetime warranty), we can remove your personal data quickly and easily. Any information not required for legal or financial obligations will be permanently deleted from our systems.
Once all eligible data has been removed, we’ll send you a confirmation email. In the meantime, if you have any further questions, our friendly team is always here to help.
