Chair Mats & Floor Protection
Chair mats are a great product to have. These are specially designed for use on hard floor or carpet, and then also whether you have high or low pile carpet. Using a chair mat allows you to prevent damage to your flooring as well as giving you the freedom to move around on your chair, where it might get suck on a carpet. A chair mat can also prevent electrostatic charge from building up beneath your chair and enhances movement
Our range of chair mats are made from high quality, durable plastic such as PVC or Polycarbonate. This makes them moderately flexible whilst still remaining hard wearing. The mats designed for carpet use have grippers on the back to stop them from moving around, whereas the hard floor mats have a flat backing with anti slip edges.
When choosing which chair mat you would like, you should also take into acount what shape you want. There are generally 2 options to choose from, rectangular or lipped. The rectangular mates come in many different sizes so you can select one depending on the amount of space you have. A lipped mat allows you to put the smaller lipped edge slightly under your desk so that you can sit closer without your chair rolling off of the mat. Again these are available in a variety of sizes so you can select an option that fits the space you have available.
