The Rexel Mercury RDX1850 departmental shredder is perfect for a shared office of 10-20 users and has an S3 security level which means that it shreds paper into unreadable confetti style particles (sized 4 x 45mm) making it ideal for sensitive data. Paper jams in a shredder are time consuming, frustrating, messy and sometimes costly.
With the RDX1850 shredder, paper jams are a thing of the past. Featuring the revolutionary Mercury jam free technology, the RDX1850 has a unique brightly lit indicator next to the paper entry feeder that warns you whether you are trying to feed too much paper into the shredder in one go. A red light indicates too much paper and the green light means there is no risk of jamming.
The RDX1850 is an ultra-quiet shredder that can shred up to 19 sheets of 70gsm paper in a continuous single feed as well as CDs, credit cards, paperclips and staples. Specifically designed for the bulk shredding, it features a pull-out frame for 50 litre waste sacks that holds up to 450 sheets of 70gsm paper. The front opening waste compartment enables simple and mess free emptying and the shredder cuts off automatically when the sack is full.
This shredder goes into power saving mode after 2 minutes of non use which reduces any unnecessary power usage making it an ideal choice for the environmentally friendly office. With a clear, easy to use LED control panel, castors for easy manoeuvring around the office and storage pockets inside the door for waste sacks and oil sheets, the stylish RDX1850 is a practical choice for a busy office environment.
