Product Description

These full-flavoured artichoke hearts are the ultimate antipasti treat. Mouthwateringly tender and seasoned to perfection, their subtle smoky nuttiness brings a taste of the Mediterranean straight to yplate. Grown organically in Italy, each heart is quartered, chargrilled and marinated in the finest Italian oil for optimum flavour. Combined with olives and grilled peppers, grilled artichokes work a treat as a topping on focaccia – or can add a smooth, savoury dimension to any salad. They’re also wonderful in a fragrant ‘trifolati’ risotto; simply slice them thinly with courgettes, and stir them with cooked arborio rice, a lemon and some mint.
