Subjected to temperatures up to 1700 F/927 C for a duration of 1 hour, the interior of the product will remain below 350 F/177 C to protect documents and files.SentrySafe Fire Files are UL Classified for explosion protection. Subjected to a flash fire in a 2000 F/1093 C furnace for 20 minutes, the product will not explode or rupture.In the event of a fire, the SentrySafe Fire File is designed to prevent important contents from damage resulting from exposure to water sprinklers and hoses.SentrySafe File Files are UL Classified to withstand the impact of a 30 foot drop test - the equivalent of two stories.
