The SP-1425 captures 25 pages per minute (A4 colour, duplex 200300dpi) and combines the productivity of an ADF with the flexibility of a flatbed device. The SP-1425 can process a variety of documents, including bound material. Designed for ease of use it features simplified user-friendly scanning. The scanner has a compact footprint and a lower height than a typical MFP, enabling easy access at the desktop of any knowledge worker. Typical applications are dedicated to single business functions such as accounting or use in a small mail room.

The SP-1425 ships with the PaperStream IP driver and image enhancement software and the first deployment of PaperStream Capture Lite. This software is designed to improve scanning efficiency, offering a new ergonomic and touch screen compatible user interface with enhanced functionality, improving efficiency and interactions across the entire enterprise capture process. An upgrade to the full PaperStream Capture version is possible. The solution enables professional scanning routine automation and offers greater flexibility in document handling than MFPs while producing files much smaller in size and with superior image quality. Both the crisp image quality and the small file size of digitised data make the scans much better suited for access through mobile devices than bulky or blurry MFP scans. Also included is ABBYY FineReader Sprint for searchable PDF file creation and Presto! PageManager 9.5 for efficient digital file management.

The scanner has a standard flatbed and an autofeed ADF, which has a stable paper feed function, supports your demands in order to raise business efficiency by meeting your needs for scanning various documents, with a fast scanning speed of 25 pages per minute and 50 images per minute, and with the added flatbed the user is able to scan various documents from batches of paper to plastic cards and passports. The bundled software works together with your business system allowing you to use these solutions with ease, thus improving and making your business more efficient.

PaperStream IP for SP Series has attained high levels of image processing. This is a scanner driver that supports TWAINISIS, easily converting various documents into high-quality images automatically. Configuring or changing the settings according to the type or condition of a document is unnecessary. Images with good visibility and images that are suitable for post-processing such as OCR can be created.
