Using standard LC quad (x1) or duplex (x2) multi-mode (50/125) fibre optic cables to make the long distance connection the DVI-D Extender provides full support for computer DVI-D Dual Link and HDTV DVI-D signals analogue audio and RS-232.The extender system comprises two modules a transmitter and a receiver which are connected to both the DVI-D source and display using standard DVI-D cables of up to 5m.
