  1. This kit contains the black print head, one of four print heads in your Designjet printer. Each print head takes ink from the cartridge and applies it to the paper. This kit also includes a print head cleaner, which protects the print head when not in use. HP print heads are designed for durability, so you only need to replace them when notified by your printer.
