This single origin coffee is made from 100% Arabica that is strictly high grown in the mountainous, volcanic soils of Tarrazu by expert smallholder growers at the Llano Bonito cooperative. The Central American climate, with hot days and long, cool nights ensures that the beans mature more slowly, which brings out the coffees highly-prized aromatic and balanced features. The Tarrazu region of Costa Rica is considered one of the best in the world, consistently scoring highly in Cup of Excellence awards. This special example is wonderfully aromatic, with balanced body and bright, intense fruit notes of sweet apricot and peach.
