Product Description

Earthenware matures between 1120C-1180C cone 02-4 and Stoneware matures between 1120C-1180C cone 6-9. This clay is most often chosen by schools. The texture is made slightly open by the addition of 10 sand which makes the body excellent for throwing and hand building. The colour varies from a warm buff to grey at stoneware temperatures. This clay also responds well to a salt-glaze firing. Pack weighs 10kg.
