The Discussion Unit with Dual Channel Selectorsenables participants to speak register a request-tospeakand listen to the speaker. A socket is providedto connect a pluggable microphone. The unit has twobuilt-in channel selectors with headphone connectionswith individual volume controls on either side of theunit allowing one unit to serve two delegates. Thechannel selectors make it suitable for discussions inwhich more than one language is used andsimultaneous interpretations are available. Each of thechannel selectors includes up and down channelselect keys and a display showing the number and theabbreviation of the channel name enabling rapidselection of the required language channel.Functionsandbull; Headphone output level reduction to prevent acousticfeedback (active when listening to the floor and whenthe microphone is on).
