It enables a number of functions to be added making it suitable for chairmen and delegates. Such functions include facilities for connecting a Voting Panel with or without a Card reader (DCN-FVCRD and DCN-FV). In addition two separate audio inputs are provided that can also be used as line inputs. Each input can be assigned its own seat number allowing the DCN-DDI to serve two delegate positions. Settings are available to assign the Dual Delegate Interface for use as a delegate unit a dual delegate chairman unit entrance/exit unit or ambient microphone. The ambient microphone is located in the conference venue and automatically switched on when no other delegate unit or chairman unit microphones are active.
