Foolscap vs A4 Suspension Files Sizes

Foolscap Suspension Files are the most common size and are used in standard filing cabinets. The other being A4 Suspension Files. These are slightly smaller than the Foolscap and are generally used in home office cabinets or metal filing boxes, pedestals and A4 filing cabinets. A4 hanging files measure a width of 330mm and Foolscap files have a width of 387mm.

Most of our suspension comes supplied with suspension file tabs and inserts so you are able to clearly label what the contents of each hanging file is. Our files come in a vast range of options including card, polypropylene suspension files, wide bottom or extra capacity.
