Some come with valves to attach filters etc. or they can come without. Also they vary between cup masks, fold flat and surgical polypropylene masks.From brands such as HPC Healthline, JSP and 3M.
Cup Masks are ideal protection against dust particles and usually have a protection level of FFP1 which is for more low risk situations.
Fold flat masks are similar to Cup Masks, and they both can come valved or non valved.
Lastly with surgical masks made of polypropylene they are most effective in high bacteria situations such as in surgical areas and hospitals. They block 98% of bacteria.
