More About Tork

Tork Cleaning Supplies

For over half a century, Tork has been manufacturing innovative solutions for washrooms across the globe. Although a powerhouse today, they have more humble beginnings in Sweden. Established in 1968 in Sweden, the word “Tork” comes from the Swedish verb “torka,” meaning “to wipe.” The company began producing large roll tissue dispensers designed for industrial use.

Between 1970s-1990s, their product range expanded to include centre feed rolls and other professional hygiene solutions as they gained traction across Europe. Like a lot of companies, Tork has evolved their environmental practices in recent years. In 2017, the Tork PaperCircle® was launched as the first recycling service for used paper hand towels. In 2018, they celebrated their 50 year anniversary, solidifying their position as a market shaper in professional hygiene solutions across the world.
