More About Taylors

More Information About Taylors of Harrogate

Charles Taylor and his two sons set up a tea and coffee company back in 1896, which formed the backbone of Taylors and Harrogate today. They had near immediate success, partly due to the fact that Victorian tap water at the time was of such poor quality, that people were encouraged to drink other beverages such as tea and coffee, which were fairly new but quickly became popular. Charles Taylor then went on to set up kiosks around Yorkshire and Harrogate, and the rest is history.

Taylors remain a family run business and are proud of their heritage in the Yorkshire tea world. Still based in Harrogate but a truly global brand, their values haven’t changed, nor has their commitment to crafting the perfect beverage. Taylors now employs hundreds of people in Yorkshire and around the world, as is defined by their independent spirit, craft values and extraordinary commitment to flavour.
