Although today, they specialise in high quality whiteboards, markers, erasers and cleaners, they began as a business selling general office stationery and products. In 1999, Show-me launched its mini whiteboards, which have now become a staple in the classroom for practising numeracy and literacy without using lots of paper. Ever since Show-me have focused on accessories designed specifically for schools.

Interactive Learning Show-me first entered the market during the 1990s when looking for an easier way to increase student engagement and learning retention, without always having to rely on paper. Show-me Whiteboard Markers and Accessories

Show-me began in 1976 when Maurice Temple opened a business selling accountancy stationery in London. This then morphed into a larger business selling general office stationery. In 1994, the temple family sold the business and escaped to Lowestoft to start a new business from their caravan in the garden. By 1999, Show-me mini whiteboards were being used in the classroom as an effective way to engage students.

Show-me Whiteboards, Markers and Beyond

Building on the success of their mini whiteboards, Show-me then launched a range of whiteboard markers and accessories which were very popular. The first class and bulk kits were then sold shortly after. By 2004, The Trade business Eastpoint was set up, which enabled Show-me products to be distributed across the world. Show-me continued to enjoy success and go into any school today, and a mini whiteboard can be found in the classroom. Teachers love the whiteboards as they are an excellent tool for active recall, and for mastering early learning skills. In 2022, Show-me began to sell in the US for the first time and launched new products such as the refillable whiteboard cleaner.
