1. POINTSOURCE Wireless has automatic camera discovery and wireless video to your smart phone or tablet and is ideal for powering POE IP cameras in-situ when in-line POE is not yet available. It includes a convenient USB charging port for your phone or tablet.
   
   Veracity's POINTSOURCE Wireless is a portable battery-powered POE injector providing wireless network access to the IP camera it is powering. The POINTSOURCE Wireless device is connected directly to the camera using a standard Ethernet network cable. This delivers POE to the camera and connects the IP camera to the embedded wireless access point within POINTSOURCE Wireless. By logging into the wireless network live video can be viewed wirelessly on a smartphone or tablet. POINTSOURCE Wireless features automatic camera discovery including ONVIF
   
   POINTSOURCE Wireless has a default network SSID with password and an IP address for accessing the device itself. These may be changed as required by the user. A reset function is available to reset the device to default factory settings. Upon connecting to POINTSOURCE Wireless with a wireless-networkenabled laptop tablet or smartphone the user is presented with a web page allowing configuration of the POINTSOURCE Wireless itself and showing the IP address(es) of the connected camera(s). Note that it is possible for there to be more than one camera in the list if the camera side of POINTSOURCE Wireless is connected to a switch and/or if the downstream network connection is also connected to an active main network (see User's Manual for details). Configuration functionality depends upon the IP camera manufacturer's supported features and functions.
