Product Description

The Educational Triangle is designed to support minibeasts' teaching on the primary school curriculum. This impressive habitat provides a home for pollinators, beneficial insects, mini mammals and hedgehogsa stunning addition to any school wildlife garden. This giant triangular habitat is constructed from FSC certified timber (brushwood) with lots of varied habitats within the structure. Starting at the base, it includes a Hogitat or hedgehog shelter which provides hedgehogs with protection from predators and garden tools such as strimmers, mowers and forks. The three different types of log habitats are good for beneficial insects such as ladybirds, lacewings, and pollinators such as solitary bees.The small, specially designed holes are ideal for solitary bee occupationLarger holes provide homes for additional beneficial insectsThe slot logs are good for lacewings and provide crevices for overwintering insectsThe crittacabin is finished with the addition of natural pine cones and re-cycled plastic fixing points on the reverse to allow the habitat to be secured in place for child safety and school security.Dimensions: 1100 x 1200 x 515 mm
