More About Monin Coffee Syrups

Monin began in France in 1912 by Georges Monin in Bourges as a small producer of cordials and sweet wines. At the time, Georges was passionate about bold flavours and hospitality, often experimenting with ingredients to elevate the drinks he served at family gatherings. Georges passed away in 1944, and his son Paul Monin took over, pivoting the business away from wine and towards sweet syrups. He ended up building a national distribution network across France.

In 1996, Paul’s son, Oliver Monin, expanded the company internationally and opened a production facility in Clearwater, Florida. Fast forward to 2018, and Monin had established operations in China and now has a presence in over 150 countries. A firm favourite in the coffee sector and hospitality industry, Monin are known for their blend of bold flavours and quality ingredients.
