Do more with less. Miniml began in 2017 when founders Emma Tapper and partner Scott, both university students who shared a passion for sustainability, noticed a flaw in the refill movement. Most “refillable” containers were still being recycled, not reused. They set out together to change that, in building a true closed loop system where every bottle and container could be collected, washed and refilled again and again. Working from a small garage in Yorkshire, they created their first cleaning and personal care formulas and shaped the ethos that today, still defines the brand. From the start, their goal was straightforward: less waste, fewer harsh chemicals and no compromise on cleaning performance.

​That philosophy guided every decision as the brand grew from a garage start up into a national brand. All Miniml products are now made in their own UK factory, giving them complete control over ingredients, quality and sustainability practices. All of their formulas are vegan and cruelty free, paraben free, non toxic and biodegradable and gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin. Their closed loop business model remains at the heart of the brand. In practice, this means customers and retailers can return empty containers, which Miniml then washes, refills and reuses, a practice that reduces waste and has helped the brand become a standout name in sustainable cleaning.
