They first began as The Jiffy Packaging Company, a British firm based in Cheshire. They started, first of all, specialising in producing wood wool, a natural packaging material, but soon moved into the innovative envelopes we know today. The first Jiffy Envelope was developed as a lightweight, padded envelope designed to protect items during postal transit. The original design included kraft paper and shredded paper packaging. With the advent of the internet and the popularity of online shopping, Jiffy Bags became a staple in the modern world.

In 1964, Jiffy created its first ever padded bag and has continued to innovate and produce top quality items ever since. From origins making wood wool, a natural packaging material, to their extensive range today, Jiffy have witnessed the rise in online shopping and has met that need with a diverse range of packaging materials you can always rely on.

Jiffy Mailers

Jiffy has a huge variety of padded envelopes designed to allow you to ship your products with confidence without the worry of the contents arriving damaged. All of Jiffy's padded envelopes are available in a range of sizes and styles as well as either white, gold or buff.

The traditional Jiffy Padded Bags feature a tough paper exterior with 100% recycled paper fibre lining, which also helps to promote environmentally friendly business. Jiffy Mailmisers are a premium lightweight option which have a strong paper exterior and a bubble film lining. These provide a heavyweight performance with strong side welds and a self-sealing closure. Jiffy Airkraft bags are a retail favourite. These have a fully laminated interior with Astro SupraBubbles for extra strength and puncture resistance.

Protective Packaging

Bubble wrap is one of the most common products used to protect products that are being shipped. Jiffy uses an advanced technology that uses a layer of barrier film, which seals each air pocket and reduces air escape.

Jiffy’s bubble wrap is available in either large or small size bubbles, on small bubble wrap rolls, in a dispenser or large bubble wrap rolls, as well as either clear or green. Jiffy Green bubbles are made with a minimum of 75% recycled materials and are themselves fully recyclable. Jiffy Foam is an alternative to traditional parcel packaging, such as corrugated paper. It can be used to protect items during shipping, helps avoid scuffs and scrapes and provides cushioning protection.
