More About Dahle Paper Trimmers & Cutting Mats

Dahle began in 1930 with Wilhelm Dahle in Coburg, Germany, who began making pencil sharpener blades. By 1947, Dahle had introduced their first branded pencil sharpener, the Dahle 99 Pencil Sharpener. They continued to enjoy success and became known for their precision quality products, and by 1960, they introduced their first Guillotine Paper Trimmer, with a revolutionary rotating safety guard that is still used today.

In 1976, Dahle North America, Inc. was established in Connecticut, which became their first venture outside of Germany. With the rise of office jobs, Dahle brought out a range of commercial paper shredders, much loved by businesses as they are today. Today Dahle continue to enjoy success and dominance in the office stationery world, in lign with the growing awareness of data protection and security. Their range of guillotines and trimmers is also popular throughout schools and workplaces.
