The U280-004-UK doesnt require a computer, so you can take it anywhere AC power is available. The U280-004-UK simultaneously provides up to 5V, 1.5A of power per port at maximum capacity. Each individual port supports USB Battery Charging (BC) v1.2 and is capable of delivering up to 5V, 2.4A, which is enough for charging even battery-intensive devices like the Apple iPad. To charge your USB devices, simply connect the 1.2-meter power cords BS-1363 plug to an AC power outlet, and connect your devices to the available USB ports. The unit protects against overheating, overcurrent and overchargingin fact, it stops charging as soon as your devices batteries are at full capacity. A front LED indicates the unit is turned on and receiving AC power.
