The Tannoy VSX 12.2BP is designed to complement Tannoy VX and VXP Series full range loudspeakers as well as offering a highly potent low frequency device for use with many of Tannoyandrsquo;s other systems such as VLS Series or DVS Series. Extending the frequency response of these systems to below 40 Hz this highly efficient subwoofer is capable of providing high output levels normally associated with considerably larger direct radiating devices. VSX 12.2BP can be deployed as part of any system designed to provide background music playback in applications ranging from clubs bars and cafes right through to theatres and AV presentations. The VSX 12.2BP utilises a pair of high efficiency 300 mm (12andrdquo;) drive units mounted in a compact and sturdy black or white painted MDF cabinet. The low profile enclosure design also allows for more discrete placement than would normally be possible for a device of this output level and performance for instance unobtrusively incorporated into fixed furnishings such as underneath seating or the bar in cafes and bars. The VSX 12.2BP benefits from Tannoyand#039;s latest bandpass subwoofer design philosophies optimising tonal balance and harmonic output through precisely engineered enclosure geometry and innovative transducer design; and ensures well-defined low frequency reinforcement at high sound pressure levels with extremely low distortion and power compression. Featuring a rugged and durable birch ply enclosure with ergonomic Integripandtrade; carry handles and integrated recessed termination panels with speakON NL4 and barrier strip connections for ease of install the VSX 12.2BP is a highly flexible subwoofer solution. As well as in fixed installs VSX 12.2BP can easily be coupled with VX Series and VXP Series and VSX Series column loudspeakers for portable PA applications thanks to an integrated pole-mount recess and the optional VTH pole mount.
